Project Objective
The Raja Meldi Sarkar promotional title song was envisioned as a full CGI 3D lyrical experience that celebrates the divine presence of Goddess Meldi Maa, while resonating equally with rural audiences and mainstream music lovers. The goal was to craft a visually grand, culturally rooted, and emotionally powerful piece, combining traditional devotion with modern cinematic execution.
Through high-end CGI and lyrical design, the project aimed to:
Present Meldi Maa’s divine aura with visual grandeur.
Blend folk culture with modern cinematic appeal to connect with both rural and urban audiences.
Create immersive CGI environments that enhance storytelling and amplify the devotional energy of the song.
Showcase the film’s cast and cultural essence in a way that builds strong anticipation for the movie’s release.
Process
1. Concept & Pre-Production
Creative Visioning: Designed the song as a 3D lyrical showcase, blending religious devotion with film promotion.
Cultural Research: Studied folk traditions and Meldi Maa’s visual depictions to ensure authenticity and emotional impact.
Storyboarding: Sketched out major sequences, transitions, and lyrical placements for seamless flow.
2. CGI Environment Creation
Built a majestic holy hall as the central environment, symbolizing divinity and cultural pride.
Created a golden statue of Goddess Meldi Maa as the divine centerpiece.
Designed supporting CGI elements including crowds, animals, cultural cutouts, and traditional motifs.
Integrated 3D characters of the film’s cast to enhance audience connection and film identity.
3. Visual Effects & Animation
Crowd Simulations: Added realistic audience energy with waving flags, devotional gestures, and celebratory visuals.
Dynamic Cutouts: Incorporated cutouts of actors and cultural props to enrich rural relatability.
Character Integration: Modeled, rigged, and animated 3D versions of cast members for engaging screen presence.
4. Post-Production
High-End Editing: Synced visuals tightly with the lyrical rhythm, ensuring energy and devotion flow together.
Color Grading (DI): Applied rich tones—gold, red, and festive palettes—to elevate the divine and celebratory atmosphere.
Final Compositing: Blended CGI layers seamlessly to deliver a cinematic devotional music video experience.
Outcome
The final song became a visual and devotional spectacle, merging faith, culture, and cinema. It served as both a promotional anthem for the film and a standalone cultural tribute to Meldi Maa—connecting deeply with rural audiences while appealing to mainstream music fans with its polished CGI artistry and cinematic presentation.
